Fitness for Work Assessments and Rehabilitation
Expert advice and practical guidance to support employees returning to work following illness, injury, or a health condition affecting their role, including graduated return-to-work plans, workplace modifications, and reasonable adjustments for a safe, sustainable recovery.
Biological Monitoring
Determines whether a worker has been exposed to excessive amounts of a specific hazard, heavy metals such as lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury, organic solvents, hydrocarbons, and infectious agents such as hepatitis. Results are reported to the worker, their GP, and management with clear explanation.
Workplace Environmental Monitoring
We are able to refer to external providers to arrange environmental monitoring (exposure monitoring), e.g. noise, vibration, air quality, such as gas, dust, solvents, asbestos, silica and other chemicals. We are able to use that information to advise employers regarding risk and worker health monitoring.
Complex Work Fitness Assessment
For significant concerns about a staff member's ability to safely perform. Led by our Specialist Occupational Physician, with a wide network of tertiary providers, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Occupational Cardiologists, Industrial Psychologists, and Psychiatrists. We manage all consent requirements and provide a detailed report on prognosis and return-to-work.
Medical Assessments for High Hazard Industries
Specialist skills and expertise for the risks of high hazard industries, including the oil industry, rail, maritime, commercial diving, mining, road transport, and manufacturing.

Medico-legal Opinions and File Reviews
File reviews and second opinions for complex cases and legal disagreement, including conflicting opinions on causation or work capacity. Dr Ryder-Lewis has specific training and expertise in medico-legal report writing and expert-witness services.
Lung Function Testing (Spirometry)

Hearing Assessments (Audiometry)
Assess hearing to detect changes that may result from workplace exposure to noise, but also the impact of non-work-related exposures which may be impacting a worker’s ability to carry out their role safely.
Wellness Checks
